The Nature Center at Brays Island offers a unique and fascinating glimpse into the development of the Plantation. The rooms are filled with artifacts and pictures that tell the story of Brays Island as well as numerous wildlife specimens - both preserved and live exhibits - that call Brays Island home. The Nature Center is open 7 days a week for owners to visit, learn and enjoy!
In addition, the Brays Island Nature Center offers custom private nature programs for Brays Island owners. These programs can be tailored to the participant’s specific needs and ages and can run from 1 to 4 hours as needed. A great many subjects can be addressed during these offerings, ranging from owl prowls and birding trips to crabbing and kayaking excursions. Brays Island Naturalist, Bruce Lampright, will lead all programs. There are more than 3500 acres of undeveloped land on Brays Island on which you can explore - on your own or with Bruce!
